Would it be possible to make an FX (Effects List) Wrapper for SimPE.

For use with the "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Effects\effects.package" file.

I need to see all the effect's names for making objects with special effects.

Thank you.

I desire this also.
Put me on the waiting list. :D

Quaxi, the effects resource has some information at MTS2's wiki. It's too much "programmer" things for my illustrator brain to understand...
You know.. lol

When you have time, take a look at this and see if is doable. :D

ohhh. I forgot to mention something. The effects are used by references in anim files. I think that we can edit the names of effects in ANIM resources with the currently anim wrapper, but i'm not sure if those "squares" typos will make the anim corrupted if we change the names of sound and effects references and save it.
One thing that i know is that some effects calls a SHP to create the effect, and i'm trying to edit the shape references there with hex. So far, no success. I'm terrible with hex editing. :/

I think the tutorial is quite good. You have to read the tutorial about slots first (also from Atavera).
