Whenever you Sims use the shower or get undressed, the game starts to blur (or pixelate) them.

If you wanted to remove this blur (when using Nighlife or higher), you had to patch the game exe or install bhav beaed hacks that might have a bad effect on other downloads or hacks.

When Nightlife was released, I did start to patch the Shaders that were responsible for this effect. By using my hack, you do not have to replace the games .exe or have the risk of conflicting hacks.
This Mod only changes the way the blur is rendered, without hacking any BHAVs (SimAntics). Which probably makes it it the savest way to unblur your Sims.

Here is how you remove the blur from your game:

1. Download the Hack that fits your Sims 2 Game (See table below)
2. Go to My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/ (This is not your Sims 2 installation Folder!!!)
   
3. Open the Downloads SubFolder (My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads). If it does not exist, create it.
4. Now copy the content of the downloaded .zip File to that Downloads Folder
5. Enjoy your game without the blur :)

If you want to get the blur back, simply delete the file you just copied into the Downloads Folder. This hack has no permanent effect at all!!

If you did not manage to get this hack installed, please feel free to contact me. You can also use SimPE to turn the blur on/off (You do not have to download any of the files above for this). Here is how it is done using SimPE:

1. Start SimPE
2. Select the Extras Menu and click on Preferences...
3. Select the SimPE Settings Icon on the left hand side of the preferences dialog
4. un-/check the Checkbox named Blur nudity
5. Confirm the Dialog that pops up with yes

SimPE will automatically determin which version needs to be installed, and it will copy it to the correct place.

The hacks do also work with the corresponding Mac Versions of The Sims 2.
