| I looked all over the site on exactly how to edit Sims facial features and couldn't find it. Do I have to export them into bodyshop and do it and if so, how do I import them back into the game?
I want to change my ugly, fashion victim townies but don't know how. I just installed Sim PE so I'm a newbie (read: idiot) so please be gentle. |

| You use it to change their face or skintone to someone or something's else but I don't know anything about making them change clothes, sorry. I never even noticed it did that. The only one I've done so far was the papergirl and her normal outfit stayed so I didn't think about it I guess.
From the front page update write up: (This might be your problem)
The Export in Sim Surgery is not working yet for the EP Bodyshop. This will be fixed in 0.33!
I would never treat you like an idiot just for being new... I'm not new and I have to learn new stuff everyday so I feel like an idiot all the time too, hehe. Anyways, the reason you can "look all over the site" and not find things is because this program is in ALPHA stages, so it changes so much every week that writing a LOT of tutorials now would only result in every single one of them being rewritten. When a process becomes "somewhat" stable we'll get around to it but in the meantime mostly power users who can figure things out more for themselves are better off messing with everything - specially the new functions every week of course.
Meanwhile using the program and guessing how things work is what everyone is doing and of course things can go horribly wrong so always make a backup of your downloads folder so you can get your things back if the worst happens to you! Modding game files isn't for everybody but I enjoy it and hope you do too. Just don't forget your backups.

| Thanks Deedee. I guess I'll wait for Version .33 before I try and make a go of it again. Could you quickly explain the idea of having a "donor" face that I have to graft from?
Someone mentioned it on another site and I had no idea what they were talking about. |

| I think they just mean the Archetype, or the one you're going to use to put on to the "patient" probably.
