Hi, I'm really new to SimPE, so excuse my ignorance. I recently downloaded some custom objects but they're set at $10 each, and it seems too cheap. I feel like I'm cheating. *lol* Is there any way I can access them and change the price? Thanks! Sarah

I don't do this often enough to be able to walk you through it, but yes. You can easily change prices in a package. First you need to open it with "File-Open". Then you can check all the views on it until you find one that has listings for price, depreciation, hauntable, etc. I think it is in the resource tab, but as I said I don't do this very often so I usually find it by accident. If the curent price is 10, the price showing in the list will be "0A". (It's in hex rather than decimal.) Change the 0A to the hex equivalent of the price you feel is more appropriate. (There is a hex converter built into SimPe). I think you can also change the settings to display the decimal numbers but I might be misremembering that. Don't change anything if you don't know what it does, and remember that you need to "commit" before you save if you want to keep any changes you make. It is quite willing to act as if it is saving if you try to save without committing, but it is saving the package as it was before you did anything to it. Hopefully this is enough to help. If not, I seem to remember finding the tab I am talking about by following Carrigon's tutorials on making hacked items. They are linked in the tutorial section.

Thanks for the help, but I just can't seem to find it. At least I'm getting the package open now, though. XD I've gone through all the tabs and such and no luck finding any of the things (haunting, price, etc) you mentioned. Maybe somehow I'm skipping something? =\ Anyone else know how to do this? Sarah P.S. I also looked in the tutorial and cant find it there either. I feel really dorky. o.O

Just to let you know that your instructions did help. ^_^ I later realized that I was opening the recolors, not the mesh files. I found and changed the prices. Thank you so much!
