Hi!

Is there any option to select a language (0x01 English) and overwrite it with another one (0x1C 28 ) ?

The second one contains the full hungarian translation in my Sims, but I couldn't change to this.
I tried to edit the english one, it was working.

But there are a lot of translation, and the packages are containing the correct hungarian translation.
So, I just need a function for the whole language which is similar with the "Change in all", because this function can copy the selected record to all languages.

Is this function available now?
Or something like this?

You can do that when changing catalogue-descriptions, there's a link in the lower right of the Plugin View, to do just that.

But you should do this only for personal purposes, since objects with english changed that way are no longer international compatible, what means, if you want to upload any selfmade objects you should not do that.

OK, but this will only change the selected record not the whole language.
I have to click in the text, then the "Change in all" will be active, then I click on it, and it will replace just the selected hungarian text...

So, I have to click on every record...
It's a little bit slow...

So your Problem is, that you can't see the hungarian Translations when you play the Sims, but only the English one. Did I understand that correct?

If this is what you were talking about, you can force the Game to run in a specific Language by editing the Registry Settings for it..
Open the Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES

and change the Language Setting in the Sims2/1.0 and Sims2 Universits/1.0 Subfolder to the Language you want to use.

But be carefull when editiong the Registry. This can serioulsy mess up your Windows (or your Game) if you don't know what you are doing!
