| Hi!
I have been searching EVERYWHERE in hopes to find out why a lot I"m trying to package keeps coming up corrupted. I know that items are included in the package file that are in the lot, so no need for more separate files. Anyhow, my problem I believe lies in a door I made for the game. It works GREAT in my game and lot. It's just a recolor of the glass shop door with a logo on the top. However, I had someone test it but it told them the file was corrupted. Is there some steps I'm missing to be able to put a door in? In case this is relevant, I did the recolor on the door using the object workshop. If I need to redo this, please let me know. Anything to prevent me from starting COMPLETELY over again would be awesome. I appreciate any help! :) |

| What does corupted mean in this case?
Does the door start to flash blue, not show up, revert to it's originla state...? |

| Okay, trying this again (my post mysteriously never showed up)--
I guess I really didn't explain well. I have created a community lot which contains this door. The door shows up exactly how I want it to in my game. However, when I choose the option to package lot to file. It does it. But I notice that it doesn't show the file size like it does with the others. Anyhow, I had a friend check it out to make sure everything showed up and worked fine in her game. Big problem--she can't even unpack it. It says the file is corrupted. I'm thinking it has to do with the new door I made. The only other custom items I have in the lot are walls and a painting. I have included items like these in my other lots with no problem. So I can only assume it's the door. If you'd like, I can give you a link to download it (I realize you can't unpack it, but if it's possible to see what may be wrong through other means it's worth mentioning). I appreciate your help! |

| did you get the link via PM Quaxi? I sure hope you did... if not, please let me know. I'd rather post it to you that way rather than in the open forum. Thanks |

| bumping this up...
I think i might know what caused the corrupted file. Someone informed me of the sims 2 clean install program and when I double clicked it, it showed a red area through the object --The Urbz-gaming shelf thingee. I took it out, but not sure if I'd have to repackage it or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) I'd hate to have to rebuild the entire lot. |

| Yes, that Maxis Urbz Game was reported to be the cause for problems, so I guess that was so in your cause.
Repack the lot without it and try if it works. |

| Yeah, I already tried that and for some reason it's doing the same thing. The only other thing I can think of is the custom doors I put in it. It was my first one and I placed a logo thing on the glass. I doubt that would be the cause for this stuff, but I dunno either. I forget where I saw the link for the tutorial on how to change items with glass on it. I believe I did it with object workshop and recolored it, would I NEED to do something different? That's if you know. Any help would be appreciated. I'm almost ready to rebuild the darn thing-- |
