I apologize firstly if this turns out to be the incorrect forum to ask this:

I'm new to the whole SimPE expereince. I just downloaded version 0.72.1.33855 and CEP 9. On the ModtheSims website it told me that this is all i need to recolor paintings.

I tried to follow a tutorial on modthesims, but when it told me pick a template in the Tools>Object Creation>Photo Studio, there was none! I then recieved this message:

"SimPE didn't find any Photo Studio Template. It can download and install the needed templates from SimPE. Do you want SimPE to download and install the templates?"

and i click "yes". It askes me what language to install it with, i say "English". 

BUT then i get I get THIS message:

"You Have to Install SimPE before installing Templates".

There isn't an un-install option for SimsPE...how can i uninstall it and try again?

It was quite confusing on MTS website about which version to get and such, because some of the tutorials are for older versions of SimPE...

Also, when i start SimPE, i get this message:

"SimPE detected a new Sims2 Expansion Pack. This SimPE version only works with Game Versions up to Sims2 Garden & Mansion Stuff. Newer game files might cause errors when opened in SimsPE!"

i have Garden & Mansions, but i havent seen a newer version of SimsPE available...am i doing something wrong? What should i do now?
