One thing I would really like to see in future releases of SimPE is a batch edit feature. :)

I decided that this would be really useful when I was creating a mod which unlocked all the Maxis Adult Clothing for Elders. And yes, as you can immagine there was a lot of property sets which all needed edited to the same thing as well as having to add Package and Version lines on all the base game clothing.

But I'm sure a batch edit feature would come in really handy with other editing as well. Maybe it could work like, you highlight all the property sets you would like to change and then change one of the property set's lines and that would then change all the other property sets lines of the same line if you get what I mean.

Sorry if this has already been suggested, but I really wanted to write this idea down.

A batch edit of the properties set is available by using the Folder Scanner (Clothing Scanner option checked) and selecting several clothes and checking or unchecking the category or the age !

But you can't change the "flags" (Show/hide in the CAS/Bodyshop) and the "shoe" option (footstep nose)

I also think about hair, when I must re-bin in the good color bin, set the proxy for the eyebrow color and copy the family UUID in order to link every colors of a same hairstyle !

A batch edit will be welcome !

I like this idea, would this be good for modifying base clothing for custom bodytypes as well?  could we then have a batch list to view different batch types?  I always wanted to see the bodybuilder in a suit.   Linking the skin tone to seperate the clothing changes (batch alterations)  so that the bodytype has its own custom clothing menu instead of every single item in the menu of all sizes? in other words seperate the clothing not just by age and sex but also by skintone. a custom sim wardrobe.
