Whenever I try to open up any sim's memories, I this error message: An attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file. The loading thing at the bottom will freeze at "60% Loading Memorycache". I've looked at other fourms from people with similar problems, but i could never quite understand how exactly they fixed it. The "Read this first" thread told me that error messages are from problems with a project, but all i'm doing is opening up a sims memories and it said nothing about how to fix an error message. What can I do to help this problem? All I want to do is delete bella goth's "I am Dead" memory so I can get her back.

The most recent version is now the one that had been the QA version, so the number is .73. Getting that might help. You will need to extract it to its own folder (NOT the one you already have SimPE in! SimPE needs a clean installation.) but your file associations are already set to simpe so you will just need to edit the desktop shortcut properties to the simpe.exe file in the new folder. If that doesn't help, try asking at MTS, since we don't get much traffic here anymore and I have absolutely no idea.

So you don't know exactly how to install 7.3? Is there anywhere specifically that I could get install instructions?

I thought we were up to 0.74 now. Just double click on the exe and it will install itself.

All the other releases of SimPE were announced on the Home page. The last news article on the Home page was the one about QA for everyone. I didn't know about 0.74. When did that turn up?
