| Hello!I come from China.Thank you for your SimPE.And i want to translate it into Chinese!I have applied. I want ask that if i have translated the UI,can i see the effect by building it with vs2005.Usually i use C++,and i am not very familiar with DotNet,so i want to ask for some help about building the project.Thanks very much! |

| If you only want to translate then you do not really need to build the project and yes, you can use VS2005, I used it myself to remove some errors and typos from the german translation. Roughly the same way you can use it to create new resx-files for another translation. There are some hints here in the developer forum regarding translation. But even if you want to build, there are some hints in the developer-subforum. Have fun! |

| Thanks for your reply.I have tried to build the source with vs and found a lot of errors.Just like some class reference in some files,but they are not exist.I search the whole project and did not found it at all.I do not know whether it is my fault or the source files have these problems indeed. Another question,i have applied the member of Scripter Group,and it is pending.I just want to ask that if want to translate it,should i receive the permission first.Thanks! |

| Beeing able to compile depends on what package you downloaded. If you got SimPE from the SVN you can compile it and test the translation, however you need to extract the changed resources in that case and send them to us.
The suggested way is to use the localization packages from sourceforge. They do not compile, but you will be able to see a preview of the tranbslated UI in VS. |
