| I've just installed 0.48c (from I think 0.38... something) - how do I set the descriptions for all languages? Thats a long and tedious job filling out all the names and descriptions for all the language slots! Help appreciated :) |

| If you are only going to provide one language yourself, eg English, then you should fill in the default (US English) string section and delete all the others. Anyone in a country who does not have strings in their language will have the default displayed. It makes the files very much smaller than the habit of creating identical strings in every language.
If it's something like a menu where you are only adding one or two options and most of the options have local translations, then for your own new strings or your own edited strings, clear out all but the default just for those strings. The people in other locales will then get the default english string for your options, while getting their own language in the other options you didn't touch.
I hate to think how many people might still be slogging on copying strings by hand unnecessarily  |
