I was just wondering if there was something I could do to help out.  I am a programming major and have taken C++ and Visual Basic so far.  Let me know if I can help in any way

We allways need help developing :)

SimPE is C#, which is essentially an easier C++, so that should not be a problem. If you want to help, the first thing you should do, is downloading the SimPE source code, as described in http://sims.ambertation.de/en/kb/entry/10/ .

First compile the SimPe.sln Solution, then try with everything.sln. If you run into problems, just let me know.

Everything.sln seems to be building okay.  I just checked in a couple of minor fixes to the main tree.  WoS was being particularly odd.

Quaxi, what is the best way to communicate with you if anyone is thinking of improving or fixing anything in the parts of SimPE you usually maintain?  For example, I was wondering if Peter could have a go at getting the GLOB wrapper working again, but he's reluctant to spend the time doing it if you're working on it youself at that very moment.   Sometimes you don't check the forums for a long time, and if Peter has a free weekend when could have been working on it, he won't get your answer till the next week when he might be busy again.

Is there a very quick way we can contact you to see if it's a good idea to do something?
