I have been fixing a few old meshes that were causing blue flashing accessories with a tutorial I found on MTS.  I have been able to do so for all the meshes that were flashing blue except for one: MESH_biene_flowerhat260605.  It gives me an error message as I'm trying to load the placeholder.obj.  I have tried restarting my computer and get the same message.  My error log is below.

Message:

Unfortunately, Peter is a programmer, not a mesher. And he is working on the Sims 3 tools now. So if this is a problem with the program, rather than the mesh, the only options right now would be to 1. find someone else who is interested in picking up the source code and getting back into development of SimPE, 2. Give up on that mesh, or 3. move to Sims 3.

The error report (as well as your multiple successes) suggests that it is possibly a problem with the mesh, though. There still may not be much help here, but you could ask at MTS and see how you might fix the problem of the ID field in the RCOL file not matching.

First, try with 0.73.44 -- that just might have been one of the bugs that got fixed.  Or it might not, I don't remember!

Otherwise, it's likely that the error message is telling the truth - the data in the file isn't what it should be, so it's not safe to process it.

Thank you both for your replies.  After doing some research, I've discovered it's a problem with the mesh.  I'm going to see what hats are attached to it, and will decide from there if I'm going to delete the mesh and CC, or deal with the occasional blue flashing.
