| The Career Editor itself is shiped with SimPE. It get's installed by default. So if ou did not deselt it during Installation, you'll have it. It's located in the Tools Menu of SimPE.
By default it is grayed out. That is, because you need a "base career" befor you can use it. One way to activate the Editor, is to open a base career .packaeg in SimPE (you can find base carees on ModTheSims2).
Another way is, to download the "SimPE Base career" from our Downloads Page. You will need WinRar (or a similar Tool) to extract the content of the .rar archive. Extract them into the SimPE/Data Folder. Now the Editor is allways enabled.
After you did start the career Editor, changing all your stuff and hitting ok, you will be back on the main SimPE Screen.
Now open the objd Resource and get a new GUID for you career. (Otherwise it will override the base career you did use).
Finally click File->Save as... and put the .package in your Downloads Folder. |
