| OKAY! So, like, whenever I open simPE it says "SimPE detected a new Expansion Pack for 'The Sims 2' this SimPE version does only work up to 'Mansion and Garden Stuff' Newer game files might cause errors when opened with this version of simPE. Run anyway?" If I click yes it says... "The type initializer for 'pjse.FileTable' threw an exception" So then I click 'OK', and again, it says.. "The type initializer for 'pjse.FileTable' threw an exception" I click 'OK' and it says it again. After doing that for awhile, SimPE opens and it says it again, repeatedly. Why??? |

| Do you have any combination packs installed? You tend to need to jump through hoops to get things working properly if you have combination packs, and if the file table is throwing exceptions a combination pack sounds to me like a likely cause. |

| Some vague memory says "file permission problem"... Try uninstalling SimPE then using the 0.73 version and unpacking it to your desktop and running from there. If that doesn't work, I don't know. |
