Ok, here´s the thing: I´ve got .NET 2.0 Beta 2 installed(me thinks it came with the VS 2005 Beta), did a [first time ever] install of SimPE(latest vers.). During install I got a message that .NET 1.1 was not found(naturally) and was given the options of continue or quit the install. Well, I continued, and the program launched just fine(still does), but it crashes everytime I try to actually use it. Any ideas what to do other than to uninstall 2.0/install 1.1? Because I rather not, since I´m not quite sure what effect it will have on VS, if any.

You can install .NET 1.1 in parallel to .NET 2.0.

I can't say more, since I have bot Versions installed on my Test System, and cannot test against .NEt 2.0 alone.

However, i think deactivating the WaitingScreen in Extra->Preferences might help a bit.

Well, that did the trick. Installing 1.1 alongside 2.0, that is.
Still bugs me a bit that 2.0 isn´t compatible, tho. Ah well, can´t have it all.

2.0 is still Bet, I don't want to waste my time testing agains a Beta Version, wher MS will do some last second changes that will make everything useless again :D

I am looking forward to 2.0, especially to VS.NET 2005, so belive me, one of the first thing when 2.0 reaches stable is making sure that SimPE can run with 2.0 without having to install 1.1.

Ok, one more question, not quite on the .NET topic, but here goes: Does SimPE support scanning of subfolders? Because when I use the "Scan folders" option only the items that are not in subfolders shows up(the Maxis stuff from the Sims2 site).

That would be the Recursive Checkbox. Wich makes SimPE scanning the Folder, the Subfodlers, the SubSubFolders...
