Im new to this program. I have vista, and base game version with NL. OFB, BV, and pets. The stuff packs I have are, H&m, K&B, M&G, and FF.

I Dl the newest version which is 7.3 I think, and it automatically launches didn't have to install anything after I extracted it.  I noticed right away that no objects would show. I had watched a few tutorials and kind of had an idea what to before even attempting to recolor.

I was following along with a tutorial, and was directed here for help. I follwed the steps under FAQ. Preferences, check paths, reset, reload, make sure nothings blank. restatred, and went back in.

I launched wizard, only my cc showed, no maxis created object.  However none of those files could be recolored.I figuered maybe had something to with cep, but have lastest version, and all of my cc shows in game.

I decided to delete all versions of simpe from PC, extract files again, and samething happened. Followed steps in FAQ. came back, now only things showing is 2 rock files under deco, and a holiday phone under misc.

I performed that test, and the top and bottom came back with errors. I clicked on the fix icon, nothing seemed to help. The first file said a path coulnt be foun, so I went back to ensure they were correct, and they are. Next states objects could not be found.

 I even tried launching that M&g patch. So i gave up and got another version from a friend, the one before this, and it crashes right after installatin.

I have tried this like 15 times, and have searced this forum for help. Also tried a few googles, and looked at MTS for help. Sorry if im postingthis in wrong place. Im new to sims still, and the few times I have gone to forums for help, kind of was treated like crap.

Anyway any advice is greatly appreciated. Sorry for bad speeling, my keyboard sucks.

Ps my graphis card is awesome, and recently added a ton of ram. So I don't thnk thats it.

Hey, I've got a similar problem.

I'd tried to convert the female HotPants to an male, so I'd change the Hex-number in Gender from 0x00000001 to 0x00000002 - and at another try from 0x00000001 to 0x00000003 - and saved, but nothing happend...

I closed SimPe and opend BodyShop to see what's happend, but I have now just a lot more HotPants for females... So I opend SimPe again and looked, but the changing of the Hex-number was undone .

Can somebody help me? I would also download some male HotPants, but I never seen some.
