When I strat SimPE, the pjse tables seem to be throwing exceptions left and right.  The error report for that is:

Message:
The type initializer for 'pjse.FileTable' threw an exception.

My game isn't running, either, just BodyShop.  (I saw that as a possible cause in another thread) and when I try to import a mesh, I get another error:

So then I read in another thread to try the QA version of SimPE.  I also still have the other SimPE installed as well.   This time the start-up error and the tool still won't load, either.

I didn't have errors with the older versions, I just upgraded today and now the program seems to be freaking out.  Is it because I have a 64-bit system?  It's days like this I miss xp...

The clue is in the error messages:

System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\Sara\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\_EnableColorOptionsGMND.package' because it is being used by another process.

System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Apartment Life\TSData\Res\3D\Sims03.package' because it is being used by another process.

You are running another program that has the files open.

So having bodyshop open is doing this?  Looking over the meshing tutorial again, I see where it says to close bodyshop.  I just tried it again and no errors at all.  Figures.  Thank you for humoring me!  Hopefully I will not have to darken your doorstep ever again.
