| Hi all,
Congratulations to Quaxi who realize my dream to be able to recolor Fence, BIIIIG hug to you.
But I do have a problem.
I follow the tutorial from A to Z and heres pictures of what happen with me.
First you have to know that I'm a french Canadian and my game is in french.
When I check on the C:\ProgramFiles\EAGames\Les Sims 2\TS Data\Res\Catalog\Patterns I can se this :
So I think I have the right thing on this file...
But, when I open the ObjectsWorkshop as the tutorial ask to do, Look what happend
I always click on "ok" bottom and finally, I'm able to see the fence Subsection but I do not have ALL the fence available. The ones I want to recolor are not available
:cry: I'm talking about the wrought iron fence and the two wood fence.
Why this is happening? Is this because my game is in French? or something else?

| Yes, this might be a language specific Problem.
Could you please send me that file, so I can have a look? Here is what you should do:
1. open the .package File mentioned in the Error Message
2. Find the Object XML with the instance 0x2ce48516 (also mentioned in the Exception)
3. Right click on that Resource (the Error message will probably come up at this point, but that does not matter) and click export.
4. SimPe will now create a .simpe and a .xml File, please send me the .simpe File, so I can have a look an check what is going on in the frensch Version of the game :) |

However, The error doesn't appear again when I start the OW, but, I can't still have all the fence.
I will send you the content package on the TSData etc file by mp
And otherwise, I did a test.
I do have two computer and both one has the game in french. But, in one of the computer, I went to the regedit and change de default langage to the english one. My game becomes in english and I tryied to reload the SimPe and the fence still not appear.
So, here, I send you right now the content of my Pattern Files. |

| Oups, I cannot send you the files, there's no options to do that and I really don't know what to do now because when I open this file
C:\Programs Files\EA Games\Les Sims 2\TS Data\Res\Catalog\Patterns
Catpatterns.bunddle
Its opening with SimPe and I don't know what to look for. |

| Oh Jesus, I found what you ask me to find. It was the last one of the files :lol: :lol: and when I click on, of your, as you mention it, I had the error message, but I extract it.
Now, I will try to send it by mai because, it not seems to have an option here to upload a file ;)

| When you restart SimPE, and let the OW load again, you should be able to see the Error Message again.
Now click on "Details" and "Copy to Clipboard", and the paste the content of your Clipbaord ([ctrl]+P) into your reply, that way I can see the complete Error Message. |

| I really don't understand what's happening :(
But I made an other test. I took an wrought iron gate who was recolored on ModThesims, I clone it and made my own recolor of it and it works.
So If someone can make a template a the different fence, I would be able to clone them and recolord them as well.
I don't have any Glasses Fence, No wrought Iron Fence, and All the wood fences...oh god, there so many I don't have :(
I really do not understand, and the problem are on both of my two computers :?
If you have time, is it possible for you to create a template of my missing fences?(don't know how to call it, my english is so bad) so I will be able to clone them and make my own recolor. |

I swear, when I open now SimPe and open the OW, I do not have the error message again, everything is loading as normal but It miss alot of fence in the subsection.
I don't know what will I have to do to have again the error message. Maybe try to uninstall and reinstall an older version and re-install again the new version to see if I will have the error message again... |
