I mostly use SimPE to increase relationships within a family, but the last two times I've tried this (using 0.44 and 0.46), things have gone horribly awry. The first time this happened, I attributed it to something I had done wrong, but checking SimPE later, I discovered that one of my sims had been replaced with another, creating two exact sims, neither of which were the sim I had created. I figured it was a bug that would be corrected in a later version and forgot about it. I downloaded the latest version yesterday and created three sims (a mother and two daughters) in the game today. After playing them for awhile, I closed out the game and did other things for a few hours. Then I went into SimPE to raise their relationship level. For one sim, the only family relations shown were the sister and the sim whose profile I had opened (no mother). Opening the mother's profile showed both daughters, so I upped the relationships there and tried to go back to the original sim, who had now disappeared, but there were two instances of the mother. Is anyone else having this problem? This made both families unplayable (they wouldn't load and I had to use task manager to exit the game). I was able to move the families back into the family bin, but trying to put them back ingame results in an unending load screen. Any help with this would be appreciated.

never had this problem and I edit relationships all the time, basicaly just to keep all my alien decendants high. (that didn't come out right)
anyway, do you have any hacks in the game, such as insiminator or others?

I usually tell people that it sounded much better in my head :lol: . To answer your question, I do have a few hacks, but I've never bothered with the insiminator. I've never had any problems with SimPE until the last two updates and I don't think I've dled any new hacks recently. I always check with the Clean Installer to make sure I'm not inadvertantly getting any. If you like, I could make a list of what hacks I have, but like I said, they've been compatible until recently.

Thanks, quaxi. The problems described in these links are variations of what is happening with me. Nice to know that others were reporting this and it wasn't an instance of me doing something wrong (which was the first thing I considered). Thanks, again, for the info and your wonderful program.
