Here's another suggestion for a really useful cleanup routine.  How about a clean up for SWAF files?  You are supposed to have one SWAF file for every sim as I understand it.  Well I discovered today that I have 550 SWAF files and only 365 Sim description files!  No idea how it happened!  I'd love a one-click option to delete all SWAF files that don't relate to sims with character data.

Failing that - please could you stick the sim's name on the list of filenames (or sim unknown) so you can find the one you want more easily?  At the moment the filelist has the sim numbers instead of the name which is less user friendly.

Thank you so much for SimPE and all the time you put into it.

Either the resource list or the characters folder. For the former, open the extra menu, click the down arrow and uncheck No Meta Informations. Restart SimPE and they should show. For the latter, you can't.

When you click on SimDescription, the table opening up on the RHS of the screen has the sim name in column one.  When you click on the Sim Wants and Fears, the table that opens up only has reference numbers.  OK you can match them back to the character from the reference number, but it's a bit painful when you have more than a few.  I just wondered if there was an easy fix for that.

meta information doesn't help Jaxad but thanks.

I'm obviously doing something stupid because I deleted a whole chunk of SWAF files where I had no character data and they are still there.  I've rebooted and played the game, but I still have 550 SWAF files.  I select and right click, choose delete and they have a line crossed through.  I guess I'm not committing changes, but I'm not getting a pop up saying "You've changed things but not committed..Do you want to commit?"  when I exit SimPE like I used to.  The only thing I noticed going into the game after that was that the neighbourhood pic had disappeared, so I must have don't something extra stupid.
