Can someone clarify exactly what the following options/sliders set in this section of simPE ?

First under the skills tab there is 'Fatness' !

Is that a typo error and should it in fact read ' Fitness'. Can't imagine what skill 'fatness' would be ! ?

Secondly under the character tab, the attracted/disgusted sliders ?

Do these set the sexual preference for your Sim ? For example, if the woman slider is set all the way to the right ( attracted ) and the man slider is set all the way to the left ( disgusted ), does this mean your Sim will thus only be attracted to women ? Both set to the middle makes your sim fully bisexual and other positions would vary their reactance to other sexes. Thats how I see it but perhaps I am wrong ?

Thanks for a wonderful program, looks like there is much fun to be had with it :)

Seems like a typo, easily enough created during a language translation during programming, but I suspect it may be related to the actual shape of the mesh... because when they're unfit their bodies are actually larger.

The sliders are for sexual preference yep... can make your sims gay with them, etc. although to hear some tell it, sims are already predisposed to gayness, I have not noticed this myself but I'm a bit of a control freak and rarely leave them to their own devices, now I am curious enough to do just that and see what develops "naturally" shall we say, hehe!

I have seen though, unaltered sexual preference sliders NOT be in the default middle position after playing the sim for a while in the game so I guess their relationships help shape the direction of movement in that slider... which would account for the preference being obvious in game play on sims that have not been altered. Like if your male sim has lots of male friends and has good times with them, perhaps that nudges it... hmmm this needs to be experimented on with a few hours of game play, hehe... Let me know how your experiments go and I'll do same.

"Fully bi-sexual" would be both sliders to the attracted side, not the neutral position I would think... I haven't played much with those...

Well, looking at the default settings for the attracted/disgusted sliders it seems all sims start out being neutral, neither atrracted to nor disguisted by men and women. Obviously the game is coded that way so that, as you suggest, subsequent actions will influence their preferences.

Given that, its not surprising my couple ( both women ) fell in love fairly easily and indeed it looks like the positional woman slider has edged ever so slightly towards 'attracted', ( compared to NPC sims ) of its own accord whilst the man slider remains neutral. The shift is very small though so as is, a man could still sweep them off their feet.

SmPE has allowed to to 'fix' that issue.

I've not played the game long enough though to figure out wether or not NPC sims will autonomously attempt to flirt etc with player sims, or wether NPC sims are purely reactive. If the former it should prove interesting at times once those sliders have been tweaked !

Can anyone confirm to me ( newbie that I am ) wether or not NPC's have this degree of free will, or if not, wether they can be modded to pursue the players sims, on their own accord, with the inherent consequences ?

Fatness, means fatnesse, it is not a typo (not this time :D). When you increase the slider, you Sim gets Fat. :)
