Hey guys, This morning when I attempted to start up SimPE, I got this error message: "SimPe - Simple Package Editor has stopped working Windows is checking for solution to the problem..." The strange thing is, this is the same version that I was using the night before. I hadn't even shut my computer down. I tried restarting, but no dice. I even tried downloading the manual install version. Ran NET Test.exe, and I'm all updated. But still, nothing. A little google-fu gave me this thread: http://simpeforum.ambertation.de/forum/viewthread/4928/0I followed everything to a T. I even made sure I had the latest Service Pack, which worked for the OP of that thread. Again, nothing. I have Double Deluxe (Base + Nightlife), Pets, and Seasons. I run on a 32-bit operating system. Thanks so much in advance. I really do hope this is resolved soon.

It's unlikely to be something changed in SimPE but rather something else in your computer setup.

Any idea what that could be? Because, like I said; I haven't installed anything, updated anything, or even turned the computer off that night.

Can't think of anything. Run the Uninstall. Delete the folder it was installed in. Run regedit and delete any SimPE settings entries. Then re-install.

It almost certainly means you've got a missing (Windows, optional download) library... Other than that, I can't remember...

Awesome. Thank you tons, man. Now, could you tell me how to fix that so I can get on my way and stop bugging you?
