Quaxi, first, thank you for honoring my request to be able to save our files in this format. I noticed with this last version of SimPe you say we can now do that. :D

However, I cannot find in SimPe where that option is available. Can you please point me in the right direction? Because I just don't see it.

I saw and tried that, but all mine does is create a package file, not a click and install one. Is this correct?

I just tried that too.. filled out the file name and all the info and then I looked everywhere for the file but couldn't find hide nor hair of it.

If it did create it, I'd love to know where it put it.

I'll go look some more I guess LOL!

You gotta give it a FileName in the TextBox on top of the Window, so you have specified the Path yourself. Don't just type in a Filename there (that would go to the last Director simPe had open, which is probably the last Folder in your folders.xml File) but use the Browse... Button :).

The trick is to specify a path with the file name. Is that right? Such as:

My Documents/EA GAMES/yada yada yada

as opposed to:

Graph_ovalwindow_032605 ???

Don't you see a Browse Button next to the TextBox on the Top of the Dialog? It works like a "Save As..." Button (probably should rename it, huh?). Enter your Filename for the sims2.pack File in the DIalog that pops up.

Then add a package File and click Ok. That should create your sims2pack File.
