My wife has a sim in game with a custom skin on that becomes a floating head when nude. Everything else works fine. I understand this is a body mesh problem and that SimSurgery will allow me to change the skin, but it is a really pretty skin and I don't want to change it if it's possible to fix it. The problem is, I have no idea which skin it is. We have several that look similar in game, and my wife doesn't remember which one she's wearing. I am brand new to SimPE and honestly have no idea where to begin to look. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I really want to save this sim AND the skin she's wearing.

Mod The Sims might be a better place to ask how to actually fix the skin, but I can tell you how to find it. Package the sim. Now get the Clean Installer Here: http://www.modthesims.info/d/409950 and open the sim's package with it. It will list all the CC that packaged with that sim. Including the skin. I know I saw a tutorial on how to fix it once you know which skin it is, but I don't remember where I saw it. If I can find it for you I will link it here. Meanwhile, you can try seeing if you can find it and re-download it. You may not have gotten the mesh for that skin, if it's a skin that goes with a CC body type.

Haven't had a chance to try it yet been busy, but I do want to say thank you to Inge, Ghost, Quaxi, and any others who still monitor/maintain this forum. I wracked my brain for days before posting, and found very little info. Unfortunately, I cannot acces mts2 from work (where I've done most of my info-searching) due to my organization's content filter, so getting help here was a breath of fresh air. Thank you again, and also for all the hard work you've all put into this program.
