does SimPE reduct the number of colors in the texture to prevent theft? I am trying to make small little tweaks (tattoos or what not) to skins I already like.

How come the files are so little colors for me?

I don't think it was to prevent theft; I think it was because adding the entire capability of a program like PhotoShop would make it take even longer to load, so the built-in graphics function is very primitive.

You could try adjusting the DDS settings before import, and see if it helps. (You are using the Nvidia -legacy- DDS tools, aren't you? Those are the ones that it was designed to work with. )

As much as we appreciate good deals in this economy, this was not the place to post them. Goodbye.

Not quite as enthusiastic, or as imaginative as the last spammer.  The last spammer spread 13 posts all over the place, and said something slightly different in each one. (Slightly different, as in "Nice weather we're having, isn't it" and "Interesting weather, isn't it?")   You had only 5 posts, all the same. You even picked some of the same threads.  I would say that this is a step in the right direction, but you would have helped your case a bit if you had acted like you had actually read the threads that you were posting in and posted something marginally relevant.

Correction: 6 posts. I missed your -actual- post in How To.  Goodbye
