Hi I hope this has a simple resolution. I have the most recent version of SimPE and I want to recolor some paintings with photostudio. Unfortunately when I try to open photostudio I get a message saying I don't have CEP even though I do.

I am operating with windows 7 on a secondary account. Can anyone tell me how to get SimPE to find CEP?

First, browse to it and make sure that you can see it under your secondary account.  Then make a note of the entire file path.

Now go to Extra:Preferences:File Table

Make sure that the file path for the CEP is set correctly.  (Then I run a system check to be sure it really is finding it.)

(You said this is a secondary account.  You may also need to reinstall the CEP if you have two accounts that access it. It tended to go missing back when my husband and I had our own user accounts, although that was under Vista and XP. IF SimPE told me it was missing, it really was missing from my account. That happened so often that I finally just saved the install file so I wouldn't have to keep downloading it over and over.)

Edit: I gave the thread a better title. "Unknown" isn't very descriptive. ;)

Just now had time to check on this. Thanks for replying, I'll follow your instructions and let you know what's happening.

edit> I looked for it in several places on my secondary account. I thinks its missing from there. So I guess I'll have to reinstall. Thanks for the tip.
