Member since: 2007-07-04 Posts: 6 | I have a Sim who is carrying twins. She is in labour. I do not want her to have twins so I would like to decrease the number of babies. I've read that there is a token or something containing a number 0002 that has to be changed to 0001 but I haven't been able to find the number. How exactly am I supposed to do it? Where can I find it? Thanks!

I have no idea where it is, and this site is dead enough that I'm not sure you're going to get a useful answer here. There is a possibility that you could ask in Modding at MTS and find someone who knows.
Or you can have the twins, grow one up, and move it out. I'm sorry. I wish I could be more helpful.
All I can tell you is that the token is somewhere in the sim's memory, and you -NEED- to back up the neighborhood before playing with that file. That can corrupt the neighborhood if you aren't careful. Even if you know exactly what you are doing you should have a backup in a safe spot just in case you accidentally change the wrong thing. This is doubly true when you are "experimenting" by doing something for the first time. So please be sure to back up the neighborhood before you open the sim's memories.

The problem is that it would be masochistic to try to play a family consisting of twin babies, twin toddlers, a child and their parents in a two-bedroom apartment. I think I'll just have her have twins, then move one parent out and let the social worker take the children, possibly after I kill the parent, and then remove all memories related to the babies.
What bugs me most is the fact that it is impossible to kill the pregnant Sim at a neighbour's house! I have tried starvation, fire and drowning in two other houses, but she only wets herself and passes out.

When they get old enough, use the cat here: http://www.drealm.info/simlogical/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Teleporters.htm and use a "Make me a ..." to make the child a townie. If you develop enough of a relationship you can age the townie up with other family members, or just move them out as a teen and then send both twins to college at the same time. No need for memory editing or the social worker, and no need to kill any sims. The cake will age up any time, so you can age them again right after you used it the first time. You can just pretend that one of the babies was kidnapped from the hospital or something. Or you can age up both babies and one of the toddlers and send them into the adoption pool if you are tired of the hassle of all those kids in a tiny house.
Edit: the reason I'm linking you to the page instead of the actual download is so you can read about them first. With the cat, scroll down and read about the teleporter plus. The cat is an update of that.
