Let me understand: you mean that you can create recolours, but they don't show up in the game catalog?

Some of the objects you mentioned (e.g. the beds, for both frame and bedding) don't use the CEP at all, so I guess that it isn't a bad CEP installation (you won't be able to create some recolours, if so).
Do other recolours (not mentioned in your post) show up correctly in game?
Do new custom objects appear?

I'm not sure about the bedding yet. But it seems, that if I redo the recolor the recolor it shows up. Which means I doing the recoloring of the object 2x to get the items to show up in the game.

Sometimes I don't do an additional recolor and it will show up after I have shut Sims2 down and reuploaded it.

Don't really know what's going on.

It seems to be better since I downloaded CEP 3.1 and since I purchased Nightlife.

I also have a problem reolouring objects, I can recolour anything that has various recolours already available in the game, eg. bedding and wardrobes etc. but I want to do a recolour of the toy chest. Everything seems to work fine in SimPE and the recolour is saved but when I go into the game it does not show up. I have tried this with oher Items that do not already have recolours and it doesn't work with them either. I have got nightlife and I am using the newest version of SimPE and I have got CEP.

Just a little question (i don't know if is related to the problem, but why not to ask.)

Are you guys enabled the "Activate Custom Content" ?
Maybe the CEP are not been loaded when you open the game..

anyway, is difficult to know what is this problem.

here's a quick tip (made by bairy of MTS2) to make sure that custom contents are been loaded:

at the moment, I have no problems. I did have CEP 3.0, no nightlife,
now I have CEP 3.1 and Nightlife and so far no problems. probably 3.0 wasn't working right or maybe a comb of no nightlife and no CEP 3.1. Don't know what the problem was but, seems to be cleared up now. Thanks for all you help.
