I hope you all thinking the future... i allways used sim PE for S2 but is getting cinda old now (first release 2004!)

the reason why i posted this is that theire is lost of ullity's for the sims 3 ,but, really ... nothing comes close to "sim PE"

"list" of editors for S3:

- TSR editor(not "realy" a editor)    only objects (not all objects) and sim stuff  but it "works" ...

- s3pe package "editor"(talk about stealing a name for crapy shit) yea it sucks!

http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=362412  <--- see for you're self.

and then theire is blackness...

hope you're thinking about it, don't know if its that differend as s2 (sure its differend but you know what i mean)

Cakewalk Sonar is one of the most well known music sequencer packages.  First release was on the Atari ST, I believe.  Age, of course, has meant it's no longer relevant... or not.

Thanks for your input.  Stealing from whom exactly?

I hope you're doing more than thinking about it, too.

The two games use

1) A different package file format

2) Different resources within the package file

3) A different game engine

In fact the list of similarities is a follows

1) Both games' name begins with "The Sims"

Err, that's it.

Well let's put it this way - if s3pe is crappy shit that sucks, a SimPE for Sims 3 will also be crappy shit that sucks, because it's the same guy doing the programming :)

I was personally happy with the decision to not have s3pe load -everything- like SimPE does. If I'm planning to modify a sim, I don't need to have the ability to do recolors loading in. If I'm playing in Object Workshop, I don't need the ability to edit BHAVS. (Actually, I've never needed that anyway. I don't do that.) And it's a bit much to be waiting 20 minutes to make a new painting.

When Quaxi left, Peter inherited a mess, and it's nice that he didn't take it into Sims 3. I'm sorry that I missed this thread, but the diversified tools are actually a much better decision in the long run.

(By the way, you left Postal off the list. You can find that hosted at MTS as well. It's by Echo.)

The Next Tiger Woods

The topic next on most people's lips was the arrival of Rory McIlroy who may like good golf clubs for sale. It's now well over ten years since Tiger burst upon the scene and the golf world is ready for the next mega star to make an appearance. Sergio was the choice for a while and Anthony Kim is the latest young American hope, but Rory McIlroy who may like the callaway ft-iz driver might be on the verge of having that annoying "next Tiger Woods" label thrust upon him while still only 19. ishiner

He's suggesting that if we get bored with sims we can take up golf? But enough is enough. He doesn't need to be posting in every thread here, too.
