Did you ever have another version of SimPE which did work? If so, did you make sure to put this one in its own NEW folder?

Did this version -ever- work? (If so, what changed?)

Are you using XP? If so, do you also have Net 2?

Do you have  Managed Direct X? This is different from regular DIrect X.

There is a problem with the Details box where it won't open far enough for you to see the actual text. You can pull it down to see what is in it. Can you try that and let us know what it says?

And finally, does the thread HERE help?

According to that, your Arial font has gone missing.  You can get a replacement from online.  I found a site here that has it: http://web.nickshanks.com/fonts/microsoft-core-web-fonts

Other sites offer it as well.

I would be a bit worried about why it went missing, although if it was a virus and it's been active for a long time, you would probably have discovered it by now.

Anyway, SimPE does need its font in order to load properly, so that would explain why it hasn't been working.
