well, i cant find my post here anywhere, looks like its been deleted. i wish i could solve all my problems by just deleting them. but thats not how life works. the facts are ,my game is still crashing and it is simPE that caused it. as i followed my post i saw others with the same problem i described.if u dont know what caused the problem,(y some recolors crash the game & not others, & why one entire neighborood disapeared into the twilight zone although the game files are still intact) then just say so. im using v 40.1992.25042 I see there are new versions.. are the problems i mentioned fixed in these new releases? i really wish u hadnt deleted my post - thats pretty bad . shame on u - haha. oh well. just tell me what to do to fix the problems, please.

Messages on this Baord, that had no respones within 31 Days, are purged, sine this server runs on a tight space, and if noone did respones to it in 31 days, chances are very low, that it get's attention again. If the error exists, just repost it, to bring back attention.

About the recolors, I mentioned more than once, that it can only get fixed, if someone sends me a Recolor that crashes the game, which wasn't done until now.

About the Neighborhood Thing. Lot's of changes were made since Version 0.40, currently we have 0.48, so chances are, that your Problems got solved in the meanwhile. If a Neighborhood is just gone, it is likley, that you have a second copy of that Neighborhood somewhere in your "My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/" Folder. You can check this with the Scan Folders Plugin (Select the Neighborhoods Folder, and check the recursive CheckBox, also make sure the Neighborhood Scanner is selected), it displays neighborhoods in red, that have duplicated id's).

Another Problem that was caused by the first Version of SimPe with the new GUI, is that Neighborhood packages got saved lowercase, which caused that the Neighborhood image didn't show up in the Selection 8instead a wireframe was displayed). Changing the name of the Neighborhood in the Windows Explorere back to the appropriate uppercase names fixes that issue.

Again, I didn't delete your specific post, it is an automatic purgin to save space on the Database.
