SimPE's FileTable tells SimPE what to load in the Object Workshop, SimSurgery and more. Anytime SimPE needs to see what package files the game looks at, it goes to the FileTable to see where to look.
Locating the FileTable
The FileTable is located in SimPE's Preferences, which can be accessed from the Extras menu.
On the FileTable there are many options you can use to manipulate waht SimPE loads. Below is a synopsis of the main ones:

*The up adn down buttons let you change the order of the entries in the FileTable. Ealier entries override later ones, like objects in the Downloads folder override Maxis objects.
*The Reload button causes SimPE to reload the current file table.

*The Load File button allows you to add an individual file to the FileTable. It opens a file browser window. You can use it to locate the file you want to add.
*The Load Folder button allows you to add a whole folder to the FileTable. It opens a folder browser window. You can use it to locate the folder you want to add.
